North Wales Advanced Drivers is a RoSPA driver training and road safety Group. We are affiliated to RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents). If you are looking for an advanced driving course to enhance your skills, please read on.
Our overall remit is safety on the road but, our Group focusses on providing training to improve driving standards. In particularly we train drivers towards a RoSPA Advanced Driving Test based on Roadcraft (the police driver’s handbook). Any improvement in driving can be beneficial. We welcome all drivers with a full car or van licence. We can particularly help:
- Inexperienced drivers, especially someone who has had an accident or near miss
- Mature drivers who think their skill or knowledge may need updating
- Those losing confidence (at any age) or nervous drivers wishing to boost their confidence
- Driving enthusiasts who wish to improve their techniques
- Those who drive for work, including someone doing long distances
- Anybody doing the ‘school run’
- Somebody taking over driving from a partner who can no longer drive
- A driver wanting a refresher prior to re-taking their Advanced Test
- Any driver, any car or van – SUV, hatchback, saloon, sports car, 4×4 etc.
We can provide tuition in English or Welsh and have a number of Tutors. All Tutors are trained to meet RoSPA standards and all driving matters are confidential.
